I am passionate about equipping others through effective communication, leadership development and community engagement – creating spaces where children, teens and families can grow, connect and thrive.

Hui-mari Meyer is co-founder and COO of ReBOOT and a Director on its board. She will serve as Managing Officer of the ReBOOT TechBalance and Wellness Institute.

With over 21 years of experience in education, these foundational years served as a rich period of professional and personal growth. More recently, she has expanded her professional scope by becoming a certified NLP Practitioner and a TALL Trees Coach, enhancing her ability to support individuals with clarity, compassion and purpose.

Effective communication, problem-solving and organisational skills – combined with an adaptable, kind and approachable manner, form the foundation of her professional approach. Above all, her enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and teenagers, nurturing healthy relationships with parents, and contributing positively to society remain key assets in advancing ReBOOT’s vision to continually strive toward ReNEWAL and growth. She also forms part of the StudyStory programme, where she leads the study skills initiatives.

She is actively involved in leadership development on an annual basis, contributing across various levels with a particular focus on the identification and nurturing of emerging leaders. It remains a privilege for her to serve on the Governing Body of a school, offering her skills in service of the broader community. In this capacity, she provides occasional support in areas such as parent liaison and internal disciplinary proceedings.

She is a trusted voice who engages youth, parents and educators on a range of topics including effective study skills, academic pressures, emotional well-being and the unique challenges facing today’s learners. With a warm yet insightful approach, she empowers her audiences with practical tools and thoughtful perspectives that encourage resilience, motivation and meaningful growth in both academic and personal development.

Hui-mari has also shared her insights through various local radio interviews (GrootFm 2022, Pretoria FM 2023 and Radio Pulpit 2022, 2025) and television programs (GrootOntbyt – Big Breakfast) in 2022 where she speaks with warmth and compassion on sensitive and impactful topics such as suicide, study skills and identity development.

Hui-mari is married to Ockert in a stable and supportive partnership and is the proud mother of three remarkable sons, each with their own unique personalities. Life in the Meyer household is lively and full of energy – her boys keep her on her toes and ensure there is never a dull moment.
